Feb. 29, 1956: Eastman Kodak Co. announced a “substantial” increase in capacity of the Tenite polyethylene manufacturing facilities of Texas Eastman Co. After additional equipment was installed, Eastman Kodak President W.S. Vaughn said, total output would be 40 million pounds annually.
