May 9, 1983: Peter Stroh, chairman of Stroh Brewery Co., was in Longview to introduce his brewery’s latest products: Premium and Stroh Light. During a visit to the brewery on West Cotton Street, Stroh introduced the beers to be sold through his Texas distributors, including Stoudt Distributing Co. of Longview.
